Daimler Truck UK and Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) today confirm the appointment of FUSO Truck UK Ltd (FTUK) as the new General Distributor for FUSO products across Great Britain, effective 1 October 2026. Led by Chairman and Owner Sid Sadique OBE and Managing Director David Hamer, FUSO Truck UK will assume responsibility for Sales & Customer Services of FUSO across the British market. The business will operate from its headquarters at the Wentworth Park complex in Barnsley.

The appointment follows a period of close collaboration between Daimler Truck UK and FUSO Truck UK to ensure a structured and seamless transition for customers, Dealer partners and stakeholders. FUSO Truck UK will work with a newly appointed Dealer network to support the long-term development of the FUSO brand and strengthen its presence within the UK commercial vehicle sector. Details of the network and market strategy will be announced in due course.
