Daimler Truck UK has appointed Eamon Baird as Head of Network Development & Training, tasked with supporting continued improvement to Dealer performance and customer service.

Baird has been part of the automotive industry for 25 years, has strong relationships in the Dealer network, and has been a valued member of the Daimler Truck UK team since 2014. The new role, which commences on October 1st, 2026, will involve working closely with the Dealer network in order to drive improvements in efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Drawing on a comprehensive skillset from a long career in automotive, Baird has led teams in operations, customer services and parts logistics. In his most recent role, as Head of Parts Logistics, Baird drove performance improvements in the UK parts operation. He has also supported international projects with expertise and best practice drawn from experience in UK logistics initiatives.

Outstanding customer service remains a strong focus for Baird, and maintaining this through periods of change will be an important part of his new role.
